Parent Faculty Club

WELCOME! We have an amazing and supportive community of students, teachers, parents and the surrounding neighborhood. HMCRA welcomes you to be as involved in your child’s education and school as you feel comfortable. There are many ways to be involved!

Who?

All Parents or Guardians of a child in our school plus staff and teachers and administration are automatically members of the Parent Faculty Club.

What?

The Parent Faculty Club (PFC) is one of the school’s fundraising bodies.  The PFC uses the funds they raise to provide   classroom supplies, field trips, assemblies and other various events.

The Parent Faculty Club is an active group of parents at Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy who want to make a difference at our school, and most importantly, in our children’s lives. We invite you to take a look at our site and see the many events, meetings, performances, and fundraisers that we have planned throughout the year. Please contact us at the school, or through e-mail, with any comments and questions. We look forward to your active participation and welcome you to the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy Parent Faculty Club!

When?

Meetings are usually scheduled the 2nd Tuesday of every month along with the SSC meetings. The SSC starts at 5:30 pm and the PFC is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm. Childcare and dinner are provided at 6:30pm. Please check the Calendar page for the next meeting.

Where?

Meetings take place in the cafeteria or in different classrooms throughout the school (signs will be posted in the office with the room #). All parents and staff are welcome!
