Literacy
Each class goes to the library once a week to check out books, however, the library is also open for the children during lunch and recess during the days the librarian is working.
We have a special relationship with Metropolitan Community Church Foundation, which provide us with a reading program and the purchase of school supplies. On the 3rd Thursday of every month, volunteers come into each classroom, read a book and leave a book for the classroom library.
